Lodges 1 & 2

Perfectly created for families and smaller groups, Lodges 1 & 2 are an exciting addition to Moirs Point Mangawhai. Built to capture panoramic views of the estuary, dune and ocean beyond, the two lodges rest on a hillside and are contemporary, light-filled and spacious.
From this idyllic setting – connect with family and friends on the generous deck, escape daily routines, seek knowledge, relax and leave restored.
Each has a well-considered footprint incorporating two wings, one with three double-bedrooms and a bathroom, and the other wing hosts two double-bedrooms and a bathroom. Open plan living, dining and kitchen is found in the central hub of each lodge. All just five minutes from the surf beach and a two minute stroll to the estuary edge below.

Lodge 3

This Lodge has a rich history within Moirs Point Mangawhai. It was once the staff house for previous managers. In 2014 after years of neglect and abandonment it was converted into what is now known as Lodge 3.
With a perfect location between our Lodges 1 & 2 and the Main Camp it can be used as a stand alone dwelling or in conjunction with any of the nearby buildings.

Main Camp

The Main Camp at Moirs Point Mangawhai is ideal for large groups. When you book this facility, you will have full use of the following:
– The hall/dining and commercial kitchen facilities
– 11 bunkrooms with heaters (bring own linen), with the following configurations:

• 9 bunk rooms with 8 beds
• 1 bunk room with 10 beds
• 1 bunk rooms with 2 beds

* Additional options to hire out the 3 x modern lodges (subject to availability)

Activities

Several FREE onsite activities such as walking trails, waterslide, confidence course, frisbee golf and volleyball.

Kayaking, Target shooting and Archery are available for hire

Quiet times are from 10:00pm to 7am
